I was raised in Marblehead, Massachusetts where I swam and dove competitively and studied piano. In high school, I was featured in the documentary A Tale of Two Teens, which explored my life alongside that of a young South African woman who had lost both of her parents to AIDS. The film grew out of two service trips I made, two years apart, to a rural Zulu community in KwaZulu-Natal. These early experiences profoundly shaped how I understand people and the world.

I later graduated from the University of Delaware’s Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics with a degree in Hospitality & Event Business Management before beginning my career in technology.

Throughout my career, I’ve seen opportunities before there were playbooks for them, then brought together the people, partnerships, commercial models, and systems needed to realize them. The common thread across my life and work has been an instinct for envisioning a more optimistic future and then landing the first proof point.

Outside of work, I love traveling the world and exploring Northern California with my Bernese–Retriever mix, Yara. We split our time between San Francisco and Bolinas. A few experiences that have stayed with me most are seeing Abdullah Ibrahim perform, chasing the Northern Lights in Finland, dancing at Berghain, and completing 10-Day Vipassana meditation retreats in the tradition of S.N. Goenka.
